The Regional HR Manager oversees the regional HR function for the EMEA region. This role will be actively involved in all aspects of HR programs and strategies, acting as the critical bridge between LMI’s global culture and specific regional EMEA practices.  

 

Reporting to the Director of HR at headquarters, this position will also provide HR Business Partnership with leaders within the region as well as actively contribute as a member of the EMEA Regional Management Team. 

 

The Regional HR Manager will thrive in a fast paced technology environment that promotes teamwork and shared success as well as uses creativity and advanced problem solving skills as we expand both organically and through strategic mergers and acquisitions. This role is located in one of our EMEA offices (ideally in Germany such as Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt) and will work closely with the Global HR team as well as managers across multiple departments and locations.

PLEASE NOTE: There is one open position only and it can be located in Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt.

 

Regional HR Operations: 

  • Oversees the localization and administration of regional benefits, compensation applications, and healthcare plans in alignment with global structures
  • With support from the Recruitment team at HQ, manages the talent pipeline development, full-cycle recruitment and localized onboarding for new hires
  • Manages regional employee experience programs including performance management, career pathing, training initiatives and offboarding
  • Ensures LMI’s global programs, policies, processes and tools are consistently and appropriately applied through the region
 

Strategic HR Business Partnering:

  • Guides the regional leaders through strategic organizational design, people planning and talent development to proactively prepare for the future
  • Active participant in the Regional Management Team (RMT), representing HR perspectives within the regional business strategies
  • Collaborates with the RMT to actively support a strong workplace culture in the EMEA region, ensuring high engagement and cultural alignment across the company
  • Partners with global leadership on regional merger and acquisition activity, supporting HR due diligence, talent assessment, and post-merger integration to harmonize cultures, policies and systems smoothly 
  • Provides leader coaching and guidance to managers on complex employee relations, conflict resolution and performance optimization 
 

Regional Governance and Culture:

  • Champions LMI’s global DEI initiatives across diverse EMEA cultures
  • Actively gathers, analyzes and applies regional market data and trends for regional employees practices.
  • Evolves regional people practices that balance global compliance with local competitive advantages and legislation.
  • Uses local regional knowledge and expertise to provide sound and proactive HR-related recommendations to the HR global team 
  • Keeps up-to-date with regional people policies, employment standards and legislation updates related to work requirements, employment insurances, etc.  
 

Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

 

Education and Qualifications

  • Degree in Business/HR Management or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources Business Partner and leadership roles with a background in a growing and fast paced, high tech environment.
  • Solid background with strategically designing and executing HR programs that contribute to a positive employee experience.   
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment
  • Experience supporting or leading HR integration during corporate mergers, acquisitions, or market expansion is highly desirable
  • Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in modern workplace tools (Google Workspace, MS Office) and hands-on experience navigating or implementing HRIS, ATS and other HR systems
  • Proficient knowledge in regional labour law legislation
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, organizational, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage and drive several projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Must be strong in areas of detailed orientation, creativity and problem solving 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English, demonstrating high empathy, an engaging presence and the maturing to deliver difficult messages with sensitivity to diverse audiences
