What will you do as an Operations & Administration Lead?

LMI Technologies is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Operations and Administrative Lead that requires quick thinking in a dynamic, high-energy work environment. As an Operations & Administration Lead, you will support various tasks in the India office and assist the India regional team in processing a variety of requests from our customers to ensure the operations are running effectively. In addition, you will interact with customers to provide them with demo equipment support and documentation to facilitate the import and export of LMI products in a timely and professional manner.

This Operations and Administrative Lead will be focused on the maintenance and support of our India office and will report directly to the Regional Development Manager.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

  • Demo Unit Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end process for demo units, including arranging dispatches, tracking shipments, and proactively following up on product returns from customers.
  • Inventory Oversight: Maintain 100% accuracy of the demo unit inventory, ensuring units are ready for deployment at all times.
  • Global Shipping & Customs: Manage the receipt and dispatch of international deliveries; process complex customs documentation and registration for incoming measurement samples.
  • Inter-office Support: Coordinate shipping tasks and logistical requirements between the India office and other global locations.
Sales & Contract Support
  • Document Control: Act as the primary point of contact for driving the completion of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with customers and vendors.
  • Sales/Marketing Partnership: Provide administrative support to the global Sales and Marketing teams to streamline the customer onboarding experience.
Office Management & Experience
  • Reception Excellence: Serve as the professional "first point of contact" for the India office, ensuring a welcoming and high-quality experience for all external guests and vendors.
  • Procurement: Manage the sourcing and ordering of corporate supplies, including office essentials, snacks, and company-branded swag.
  • Facility Coordination: Ensure the local office environment is functional, organized, and representative of the company’s global standards.
General Administration
  • Internal Coordination: Use Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) to maintain clear documentation and reporting for all operational activities.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Support the leadership team with diverse administrative tasks and special projects as the business scales.

What do you need to be successful?

  • 3+ years of relevant office administration experience with preference for previous experience supporting a technology company.
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Indian and English with proficiency using  Google Workspace including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive and Calendar.
  • Ability to work effectively across different international cultures. Experience working in a global company is an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills and can easily adapt to changing tasks and priorities
  • Strong capability in being resourceful and problem solving.
  • Professional appearance and excellent phone manner.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, approachable and team-oriented personality, with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Meets work demands and expectations in an efficient and effective manner.
