LMI Technologies is seeking a strategic and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our Global Finance Team. Reporting to the Group Controller, this is a pivotal role designed to lead the evolution of our financial planning function. You will ensure our Global, Regional, and department leaders are supported, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive Global growth and operational excellence. 

Financial Planning & Strategic Leadership:
  • Lead the annual Global budgeting process, partnering with department managers to build robust, challenge-driven financial plans
  • Own and evolve the monthly forecasts, integrating operational and market drivers 
  • Support long-range planning and multi-year financial modelling to align with LMI’s corporate vision 
Performance Analysis and Insight:
  • Deliver budget to actual reporting, providing commentary on key performance drivers and underlying trends  
  • Develop and monitor comprehensive financial and operational models, identifying risks and opportunities 
  • Curate monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the Leadership teams, focusing on clarity, accuracy, and strategic storytelling
Business Partnering: 
  • Act as a bridge between Finance, Global and Regional Management teams, providing the financial ‘lens’ for operational and strategic decision making
  • Develop business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and regional expansions
Process Innovation & Leadership:
  • Modernize the FP&A tools and methodologies by leveraging AI and automation to streamline complex data workflows, eliminating manual intervention and ensuring gold-standard accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Supervise and develop FP&A staff, fostering a culture of high performance, technical excellence, and professional growth

Education and Qualifications

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation 
  • Proven ability to move beyond the numbers to understand the ‘why’ behind business performance
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders
  • A self-motivated approach with a relentless focus on accuracy, detail, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced Global environment
  • Experience with a Tier 1 ERP system; Oracle Netsuite is a considerable asset
  • Experience with financial planning tools at a key user or administrator level. Adaptive experience is an asset 
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) experience is an asset

Salary Range: $96,000 - $137,000 + Eligibility for Profit Sharing Program Participation (pending successful completion of probationary period and based on business performance)
